Love: What’s your Proof?
Matthew 22:36-38 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Can you prove that you Love God (Heavenly Parent).
Loving God is more than just saying that you love God!
Anyone can say that “they love God”
But can you pass the test, that proves that you Love God?
1 John 5:3 For this is love for God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.
Our love for God is proven not by our words or our emotions, but by our actions, by our obedience, by how we live our lives in God’s sight.
Talk is cheap - Don’t just talk the talk but walk the walk - Put your money where your mouth is
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
John 14:15 Jesus said, if you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
John 14:21 Jesus said, whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.
If you were accused of Loving God!
Would there be enough evidence to convict you?
