Triangle Family Church Weekly Update Dear Sisters and Brothers, 1. This Saturday Africa Conference at 9:00 AM This Saturday is the Africa Conference: Addressing the Critical Challenges of Our Time. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the conference goes till 1:00 PM and includes lunch. Prayer Request for Carolyn Sampson's Daughter, Chia Please pray for Carolyn Sampson's daughter Chia. She is currently in intensive care at WakeMed in Raleigh. Please keep Chia in your prayers, as well as her daughter Ruthie, and the whole Sampson family. Thank you. 4. Matching Retreat for Older Candidates A message from one of our Matching Supporter Coordinators about a retreat to help older brothers and sisters receive the Blessing: Dear Beloved Brothers & Sisters, My name is Anne-Marie Mylar, I am a Matching Supporter Coordinator for the Blessing and Family Ministry–USA. I work very closely with Crescentia DeGoede and John Abelseth, who leads the BFD in Canada. The BFM is very serious about organizing a special retreat for our single older brothers and sisters to allow them to meet in person for the purpose of trying to possibly find a spouse to attend a future blessing of our True parents in 2019. At this point in time I do not have much details to share with you, except for the following: The venue will be within USA You will have 3 months between the official announcement and the actual event, so you have plenty of time to prepare. The retreat will be for individual 35 years old and older. Who can participate: Single (Divorcees and previously blessed OK) First Generation and Blessed children Members from our Affiliate communities (ACLC, UPF, and others) Every one must have a clear understanding of what the marriage blessing is all about. What do we mean about clear understanding of the Marriage Blessing: The Affiliate person (ACLC, UPF or other) need to realize the process that will take place if they choose to attend the Blessing from our True Parents. They have to be willing to do the 5 steps. 1) Holy Wine Ceremony 2) Blessing Ceremony 3) Chastening Ceremony 4) 40-Day Separation 5) 3-Day Ceremony We do not have any problems finding ladies to attend such a retreat, but in order to make it meaningful we also need to find the gentlemen. Please make sure that someone who could benefit from such a retreat is notified and connect with us directly as well as with their pastor. Africa Conference: Next Saturday, April 27 at 9:00 AM We will have an Africa conference on Saturday, April 27 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Please come if you can. This is an opportunity to share about True Mother and our movements' work around the world. Here's a message about the event written by our sister, Sharon: Hello Brothers and Sisters,  I would like to welcome you to attend, invite your friends, and volunteer for our First African Conference here in NC. Our True Mother and our Movement has done extensive help and outreach in Africa in 2018. Please go to www.upf.org and see Mothers speeches, work and all work in numerous countries in Africa, to promote World Peace. On April 27, here at the Triangle Family Church, we will have a African Conference. Please look at the flyer that we have sent out, as an attachment. Please invite people from Africa, immigrants, diasporas and all people of color and denominations. We will showcase Mothers work for Peace, have round table discussion on Peace, guest speakers, and finish with a Blessing. Please reach out to John and me for volunteering. It will not be victorious without people volunteering to serve and take care of people. Triangle Family Church Weekly Update Dear Sisters and Brothers, Spanning the Generations Last week we heard from the first generation Pace. This week's message will come from the second generation Pace, our beloved sister Shawna Pace Kempf! Next week, one of Shawna's kids!!! (No, just kidding.)  Easter at the Lake at 11:00 AM Friday through Easter Sunday, April 19-21, is the Sub-Regional Youth Service Retreat based at a campground at Falls Lake. Students will be coming from across the Sub-Region to participate. Our Easter Sunday service will be at the Community Building at Rolling View Recreation Area off of Highway 98 at 11:00 AM, and will feature testimonies from the retreat participants and more.  Preparation for the Africa Conference–A Message from our UPF Director, Sharon Pace Hello Brothers and Sisters, I would like to welcome you to attend, invite your friends, and volunteer for our first African Conference here in NC. On the foundation of decades of sacrificial investment, our True Mother and movement carried out extensive education and outreach in Africa in 2018. Please go to www.upf.org and see Mother's speeches and the work and activities taking place in numerous countries in Africa, to promote world peace and true family values. On Saturday, April 27, here at the Triangle Family Church, we will publicize and promote this at our Africa Conference. Please invite everyone you know, including especially people from Africa or interested in Africa. We will showcase Mother's work for peace, have a round table discussion on peace, listen to guest speakers, and finish with a Blessing ceremony. Please reach out to John and me for volunteering. Victory comes when we serve and take care of people. Some of the jobs to be done: Before the event:  Putting up flyers at Durham library and African Restaurants, Mosques, churches, etc. Putting up flyers at University, and Colleges. At the event: 8:30 AM: Set up and staff the registration table 8:30 AM: Set up and clean up for a light breakfast 11:00 AM: Drop off prepared dishes at the church, lunch set up and clean up. Triangle Family Church Weekly Update Dear Sisters and Brothers, We've got a lot going on the the providence this week!  This Weekend is Celebration Sunday  We will celebrate True Parents' Day with a cake, offering table, and simplified service. We will celebrate the completion of the Peace Starts with Me Blessing Rally in Los Angeles. (More about that below!) Plus, we will hear a great message from John Pace and great music from our band. It all starts at 10:00 AM.  National Prayer Please continue praying for True Mother coming to Los Angeles this Saturday. The prayer points: True Mother's health and absolute victory as we march towards 2020. All American Blessed Central Families lay the foundation of victory through active Tribal Messiahship. Top Christian and political leaders in the USA recognize True Parents' great work and honor our True Mother this year. Absolute victory of our 5,000 Couples' Blessing with True Mother in Los Angeles on April 6, 2019.  That America fulfills its responsibility as the Elder Son Nation and serves the world. Bishop Noel Jones has INVITED True Mother to bless Los Angeles, and is providing his mega-church facilities free of charge, as an offering. Our members are having VIP dinners every night and prayer breakfasts with hundreds attending every week. The churches of Los Angeles are uniting with True Mother as the Mother of Peace. Top leaders of the Los Angeles Police Department will be attendance--not for security, but to pray, sing, learn and receive the Blessing. We're estimating 40 people from around the neighboring states attending. There will be camping at Falls Lake.
