Sermon

Summary
The video script discusses the importance of fearing the love of God leaving us and the significance of returning to tears as a way to remain in God's love.

  • The fear of losing God's love is a powerful motivator for repentance and self-reflection. It reminds us of our vulnerability and the need for humility.
  • The concept of returning to tears signifies a shift from self-pity to a genuine understanding of God's love and grace. It requires embracing vulnerability and shedding tears for God and others.
  • The fear of losing God's love highlights the importance of prioritizing a relationship with God above all else. Material concerns and worldly success pale in comparison to the eternal significance of God's love.
  • Roy Comfort's video demonstrates the impact of speaking the truth, even when it may be uncomfortable or confrontational. The truth has the power to convict and bring about repentance in individuals.
  • The return to tears is not an easy path, but it is the principled way to remain in God's love. It requires genuine repentance, following God's law, and embracing the truth, even when it challenges our comfort and desires.

Dear Friends of Faith,

Greetings!

   The American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) invites you to attend the Pastors’ Appreciation Prayer Breakfast on December 3rd,  2022 at the Triangle Family Church, 1414 Watts St., Durham, NC, 27701. The two hour meeting  and fellowship will begin with registration from 9:30AM, will start promptly at 9:45 AM and conclude at 11:45. Breakfast will be served during the event. Free parking is available.

   The American Clergy Leadership Conference is a collaborative network of faith leaders united beyond race or denomination. Our aim is to strengthen marriages and families. The ACLC clergy share a vision of America as a beacon of hope and renewal to demonstrate how individuals and couples can create God-centered families, and to harmoniously live as one family under God.

   The meeting will promote coming together and to especially Unite the Body of Christ based on the Gospels and the vision of Father and Mother Moon, the founders of ACLC. Working together will enrich our lives as pastors and as couples, and will enhance our preaching, family counseling, and Kingdom-building efforts. In Jesus’ own Words;

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.” (John 17: 20-22)

  At this time in America and in the world, God needs righteous families, guided by the American clergy, to stand strong for healthy family values that can raise up the next generation. We look forward to experiencing this Appreciation Prayer Breakfast with you.

 Your presence will make the difference; it will be a Christ-centered, edifying morning of love, sharing and blessing.
